I came across Jacques Whitford’s website that included an ad looking for a professional Engineer with 10 years experience and established clients and contacts. After looking into it, I came to the conclusion that this was an exciting, employee-owned, professional company with so many opportunities that I couldn’t even see the top rung on the ladder. The decision to join the Jacques Whitford team came easily.

Being an Area Manager is like being a coach of a baseball or football team. It gives me the ability to get to know colleagues strengths, needs, likes and dislikes, so that I can put them in the best possible position to succeed and be a part of a winning team.

As anticipated, being a Jacques Whitford employee is very rewarding and has provided me with the challenges and opportunities that I thrive on. I’ve been able to learn a great deal from both internal and external technical, business and leadership training provided through the firm. While I greatly enjoy being an employee, I really like being a shareholder in an employee-owned company. I am pleased to be part of a company that is so successful while knowing that I contribute to that success.

Through working at Jacques Whitford, I’ve gained a wealth of additional knowledge and experience and continue to do so every day.. I’ve gained many friends, both colleagues and clients, and have really come to appreciate what genuine client service is all about.

My ultimate goal as Area Manager of the Rhode Island office is to continue to build a team of successful professionals and provide a comfortable working atmosphere. I want my team to enjoy and look forward to coming to work every day, and to provide unparalleled cutting-edge, cost-effective solutions to our clients.
