"After completing three years of college at Sir Sanford Fleming and attaining my Environmental Technologist diploma, I entered into McMaster University to start a five year co-op program in Environmental Science.

During my time at McMaster I was introduced to Jacques Whitford by my co-op department as a great place to work and learn. After researching the company and learning about all of the incredible incentives and benefits offered by Jacques to its employees, I was in agreement. I was subsequently interviewed, hired and completed a work term with the Environmental and Site Assessment and Remediation Team (ESAR) out of the Burlington Ontario office. While working in my placement it was very obvious that this was the right company for me and before completing my placement I received and accepted a full time position with ESAR, starting after my graduation.

In the time that I have spent at Jacques I have been given the opportunity to grow and develop both personally and professionally. The guidance and support offered by everyone here has allowed me to learn and grow on a daily basis. Every day brings a new challenge and it is a great feeling to know that I posses the skills and knowledge, thanks to everyone here, to complete a job-well done.

My short term goal at Jacques is to continue to be involved with interesting and challenging projects and continue my professional development. My long-term goal with Jacques is to become more involved with clients and someday become a project manager.
