Our Surficial Geology group is expanding! As a result, Jacques Whitford AXYS Ltd. is now offering several new services to the mineral exploration community (base metal, precious metal, diamond and uranium exploration). These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Till Geochemistry

• Surficial geology mapping to identify areas of till 
• Till sampling: sampling design and retrieval of samples 
• Maps of elemental anomalies shown as dot plots of high vs. low values (overlain on geology maps, if available)

Ice Flow Mapping

• Measurement of ice-flow indicators (striations, grooves, landforms and till fabrics)
• Maps showing ice flow history for till geochemistry interpretations and for indicator mineral anomaly interpretations

Surficial Geology Mapping

• For till geochemistry (including identifying more than one till)
